Ginsberg: Financial Boost for the Elderly

“They are old…they are frail…they are weak…and all they should look for now is a way to make money and beat the age barriers!” said Mr. Ginsberg at one of his recent seminars in Australia. Adam Ginsberg speaks highly of the elderly and believes that their wisdom is as rich as old wine. It was Adam’s mother who first insisted that he list his pool table on eBay and who led him to his first success. He esteems his mother highly and acknowledges her time and time again, saying  that since it was his mother’s idea that made him what he is, he’s going to repay her by enabling the elder generation to become financially stable.
Adam Ginsberg’s eBay tutorials have helped hundreds of retired senior citizens earn money through the home-based eBay trade. People from all ages, especially the ones who are not fit enough to work outdoors, have found eBay as their employment and as their entrepreneurial expedition. For those who cannot come to his workshops, Adam Ginsberg has launched DVD’s and books so that they don’t miss a thing. His review sites are loaded with comments that feature accolades for him. Here’s one of the many success stories from one his fans:
“Hi Adam
I want to tell you again how blown away I was with your seminar… I saw so many ways I can use what you taught for my own seminar business. I am anxious for your affiliate program to begin, because I know so many people who I know would benefit hugely.
On a fun note, I wanted to let you know of my latest Adam Ginsberg success story. My mother is 66 years old, loves to go to garage sales and knit. After coming back from your training, we were having dinner with my parents and Craig (my husband) and I was excitedly telling them everything we learned. She told us that she had something she’d like to try selling on eBay and asked if Craig would list it for her. It turns out that it was a Lenox Rudolph statue that she paid 25 cents for over the summer….25 cents!
Well, Craig used your auction optimizer, the awesome template software you provide, and listed it. The auction closed this Saturday at a record - $265.00! My mother turned 25 cents into $265.00! Needless to say, she is tickled pink and Craig is now the favorite son in law. It just goes to show you that what you teach and offer can help people of all walks earn more money.”
Needless to say, Mr. Ginsberg is enjoying the heaps of praise that he gets from the elder entrepreneurs! He’s a great mentor and speaker. So, give it a shot and try out one of his eBay tutorials. Why wait to get any older!

Costumer reviews:
***** Adam Ginsberg knows all the ins and outs of eBay. Even if you're not computer literate, he makes it so easy to understand everything from the basics, to the most advanced tips to becoming a PowerSeller and making thousands a month. Thanks to this book, we took our eBay sales from $2,500 a month, to $7,000 a month, and we're now an eBay Silver PowerSeller! Better yet, we also generate over 150 new leads every single month. I recommend this book to anyone who's looking to make eBay their primary or additional business.
***** This is a clear, bright, fun book to inspire and give courage to those who are new to the Internet and eBay. The writing style is great - it took me just over a day to read the entire book...actually, I couldn't put it down!
***** I've been a member of eBay for 7 years. During that time I've bought more than I've sold there - but learned a lot through the entire process. Adam Ginsberg's book has given me the motivation to seriously start thinking I can eventually quit my sucky daytime job and maybe go into business on eBay full-time. And, as Adam correctly points out, you don't have to immediately quit your day job to get started and find out if such a move is really for you. Experiment with his strategies, sell a few items and see what happens… after reading Adam's book I'm more convinced than ever that I too, can do the same.

Ebay auction tips offered by Adam Ginsberg

You have plenty of items lying in your backyard or adorned with cobwebs in your garage and you don’t know what to do with them. Well, here’s what you can do. Auction them on ebay (unless your beloved spouse is a pack rat)! It’s better than selling your stuff in the flea market or donating it for tax deductions. All you have to do is log in to the ebay website and follow these simple steps.
1.      The website homepage identifies you as a non-member so sign up for the account and register as a seller.
2.      After signing in, click “sell” to begin the setup page that starts the auction process.
3.      You can next select a category suggested by ebay that suits your item.
4.      Enter a title for your item's auction. For example ‘Apple laptop’, but make sure you mention its model and features.
5.      Add clear pictures of your item from all necessary angles. Make sure the logo of the item is visible if it has one.
6.      Describe the item in detail. Remember to focus on the item's condition, function, damaged or missing parts, good and bad characteristics and smell, such as from a damp or musky basement. If you have pets at home kindly mention that to warn the potential buyers with allergies.
7.      Now think upon the most crucial thing: setting up a price! You could start with the “lowest price” that you’re willing to accept or you could set a “reserve price”, the amount the bidders must reach before you sell your item.
8.      Choose the duration.
9.      Offer a payment mode to the buyers. You may accept PayPal payments, for which you must have an account; money orders; and personal checks.
10.  Decide the shipping rates. You can offer free shipping or a flat rate or even base shipping depending on weight and destination.
11.  Establish a return policy. If you choose, guarantee reimbursement for any reason, for only damaged items, for the selling price but not the shipping fee, or only if the item is returned within a certain span of time after the auction.
12.  When you are done, preview your auction listing. If satisfied click “List Your Item” (or revise your listing).
13.  Contact the buyer when the auction ends. Send the buyer an invoice with the total price. Once you're paid, ship the item.

Tips and Warnings
1.      Photograph your items with even lighting. Take close-ups of the areas where the product is damaged.
2.      Buyers are free to comment and offer feedback after the transaction on your “My ebay” page.
3.      You should only edit or revise your auction list before there’s a bid.
4.      Wait till the last moment, some bidders wait until the last second to bid (it’s called “sniping”).
5.      Keep boxes of various sizes, tape, bubble wrap, labels, etc. handy for shipping.
6.      Ship items as soon as possible.
7.      Be accurate in your details about the item, or else be ready to have negative feedback and to have it returned back to you.
8.      Send the item only when you have received the payment in your account. Ebay is vulnerable to fraudulent users.
9.      Make the earliest contact with the buyers and answer all the queries that potential customers have.
10.  Pack the items carefully to avoid damage to the shipment.
